Asparagus Ottolenghi Style

The guardian has a section called “The New Vegetarian,” which (usually) features a weekly recipe from Yotam Ottolenghi, who is.. the best.  The other day I came across this.

Why didn’t I think of cheese and tomatoes on top of asparagus!!!  There’s no alterations needed, it’s perfect.  Unless of course you don’t have everything on hand- I used goat cheese rather than the one mentioned and it was still yum!!

Yum! Asparagus is one of my favourite vegetables but I have to live vicariously through you because they seem to be awfully expensive in Austria, like 4 euros for a measly bunch. Yours are so pretty, like the Italian flag ^_^
